Level 3 Qualification
Any haulier wishing to operate vehicles that exceed 3,500kgs GVW, or 2,500kg Small Goods Vehicles within the EU, will probably require an Operator's Licence (O'Licence), and in many cases they will require a suitably qualified Transport Manager who can "continuously and effectively" ensure the safe operation of those vehicles.
A Transport manager nowadays requires certification, issued to them after successfully passing Department for Transport approved examinations.

To help, with the help of colleges in the capital, we have put together a free online course for budding drivers giving a little insight into the job, training, the process to gain a vocational licence, pay and conditions and what to expect when turning up for their first day of the job as a qualified driver.

Certificated Compliance For Experienced Operators
For busy transport professionals of all levels, the course provides an overview of the operator licensing system and review the 11 fundamental undertakings agreed to by operators, as well as the “7 deadly sins”.
Either of the two OLAT courses on offer here are approved by the CILT and certificated to comply with the Traffic Commissioners "Operator Compliance" requirement or the DVSA's or TCO's quintennial Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements for O'licence holders or qualified transport managers.

We offer a wide range of relevant JAUPT approved Driver-CPC courses delivered in person to drivers at your place of work, or remotely by MS-Teams.
All of our courses are created and delivered by instructors who are experienced drivers themselves, who have clocked a lot of miles on the tachograph, or are experienced transport managers who have come from busy traffic offices.
